Description:

Sedum dasyphyllum, often called Corsican Stonecrop or Blue Tears Sedum, is a delightful miniature succulent known for its incredibly tiny, plump, and often bluish-grey leaves that resemble tiny pearls or beads. This mat-forming sedum creates a dense, low-growing carpet, spreading easily to fill spaces between stepping stones, along rock walls, or as a charming groundcover in rock gardens. Its compact and intricate texture makes it a popular choice for succulent arrangements, miniature gardens, and terrariums, where its unique aesthetic can be appreciated up close. In late spring to early summer, it produces delicate, star-shaped white flowers, sometimes with a pinkish tint, held on short stems above the foliage.

Product Length: Forms dense, spreading mats, typically growing 5-10 cm tall and spreading indefinitely.

Size: Individual leaves are tiny, usually 2-3 mm in diameter, tightly packed along the stems.

Color: Leaves are typically bluish-grey or grey-green, sometimes taking on pink or purplish tints in strong sun or cooler temperatures.

Offsets: Spreads prolifically by rooting stems that readily form new plants where they touch the soil, creating a dense groundcover.
