Description:

Cotyledon tomentosa, affectionately known as "Bear's Paw," is a highly popular and charming succulent native to South Africa. Its name is derived from its thick, fuzzy, paddle-shaped leaves that feature distinct reddish-brown "teeth" at the tips, giving them the adorable appearance of a bear's paw. The velvety texture of the leaves is a standout feature, and it adds a soft, tactile element to any plant collection. This slow-growing, compact succulent is a fantastic choice for bright windowsills, small containers, or as a unique element in a mixed succulent garden. In spring, it can produce delicate, bell-shaped, orange-red flowers on a short stalk, providing a lovely seasonal contrast to its fuzzy green foliage.

Product Length: Stems typically about 8-12 tall.

Size: Individual leaves are plump, growing to about 2-4 cm  long.

Color: Leaves are a fuzzy, powdery green, often with dark reddish-brown tips resembling claws. The stems are also fuzzy.

Offsets: Forms a shrub-like habit, producing new branches from its main stems as it matures, and can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.
